Reference: Asset Settings, Portfolio Settings, Account Settings and Default Trading Settings
The Account Settings dialog allows you to access and manipulate the settings of individual assets in your portfolio. The Account Settings dialog contains four tabs:
Stocks, Forex and Futures Defaults
The Position Sizing, Order Details, Limits and Stops, Safeguards, Broker Settings and Order Fees tabs are all tied with the Asset Settings, Portfolio Settings, Account Settings and Default Trading Settings dialogs. Please note that any adjustments made to these tabs from the Asset Settings dialog will only affect that particular asset. However, any adjustments made to these tabs from the Portfolio Settings or Account Settings will affect the entire portfolio selected or the entire account that holds all of your portfolios and assets.

The Account Tab allows you to control the specific settings of your broker account in Trader68. The Account Tab controls your log in and account type settings for your broker.
General
o Name
The name of the broker account.
o Auto-trading enabled
The Auto-trading enabled checkbox is marked by default and indicates whether or not the particular broker account should be auto trading.
o Clip order sizes to available capital
Since position sizes can be set to anything, it is possible to set the cumulative position sizes larger than the known amount of money in the account can support. In the event this occurs, turning this option on will automatically clip any new orders to a size that can be supported by the available funds in the account.
Note that Trader68 cannot replicate every condition that your broker may apply to your trading limits. Therefore, there may be times when this option is too restrictive. In these instances, you can turn this option off. This will cause the full-sized orders to be sent to the broker where they may be accepted or rejected.
Broker
o Password
The password of the broker account. The password in Trader68 will not change the password you have set with your broker.
o Server Port
The default port of the broker account. If you change the default port, you will need to do so in your broker software as well.
o Account Type
The type of Interactive Brokers account you have and has three options to choose from:
· Day Trading (Default Option)
Pattern day traders with account values less than $25,000.
· Overnight
Non-pattern day traders with account values greater than or equal to $25,000.
· Non-Marginable
Accounts that cannot use margin (e.g. IRA accounts).
o Auto-connect on startup
The Auto-connect on startup checkbox is unmarked by default and indicates whether or not Trader68 should automatically connect to the broker on startup.
