Assets Grid

The Asset Grid window allows you to easily organize symbols that you are actively autotrading or monitoring. The default Asset Grid in Trader68 displays the “My Portfolio”, but can also display assets for a specific brokerage account, all brokerage accounts or other individual portfolios. Simply right-click on the account/portfolio you wish to view in an Asset Grid and select the option “View Assets Grid” and a new tab will be displayed.

o     Symbol

The Symbol is a short 3-6 characters used to identify a security or index.

o     Status

The Status indicates the current status of each individual asset on the Asset Grid and there are five states that can be displayed:

·      Autotrading

The Autotrading state indicates that the current asset is actively autotrading with the broker.

·      Autotrading Paused

The Autotrading Paused state indicates that the current asset is not autotrading and can be turned on by hitting the green “play” button on your toolbar.

·      No Autotrading Settings

The No Autotrading Settings state indicates that the current asset is not setup for autotrading with a signal generator. Please refer to the Asset Settings dialog for more information on how to assign the asset a signal generator.

·      Signal Data Series Not Found

The Signal Data Series Not Found state indicates that the current asset is not autotrading and Trader68 cannot find the data series from your signal generator. Be sure to check your Base Signal Symbol to verify it matches the signal generators accordingly.

·      General Settings Problem

The General Settings Problem state indicates that the current asset is not autotrading and the asset has errors associated with it. Please refer to the Asset Settings dialog for more information and at the bottom of the dialog it will alert you to where the problem is.

The Position, Unrealized Profit, Market Price, Bid Volume, Bid Price, Ask Price and Ask Volume are all streamed in real-time from the broker.

o     Automatic Stops

The Automatic Stops indicates Stop Loss and/or Take Profit settings specified for the individual asset (Asset Settings), the entire portfolio (Portfolio Settings) or the entire account (Account Settings) under the Limits and Stops tab. The default setting for Automatic Stops is set to Manual Stops.

o     Stop Loss Price

The Stop Loss Price indicates the price at which a Stop Loss order will be issued to the broker.

o     Take Profit Price

The Take Profit Price indicates the price at which a Take Profit order will be issued to the broker.

The Order Action, Order Size, Fill Type, Limit Price, Stop Price, Confirm Order and Cancel Order are primarily for Limit Orders since Market Orders are executed immediately.
