Setting up a TradingSolutions Model/System

 

Setting up a model/system in Trader68 for TradingSolutions is very straightforward and easy! On this panel, setting up a TradingSolutions model/system is the default selection, so simply press the Next button to proceed.

Trader68 will automatically select the most recent TradingSolutions portfolio opened. If you would like to change your portfolio directory, simply press the button next to the directory path and navigate to where your portfolio is saved. Once you have selected your portfolio, press the Next button to proceed.

On this panel, Trader68 will list all of the models in the previously selected portfolio in the top preview pane. Select which model you would like to first add into your Trader68 portfolio. Also on this panel, you can rename your Trader68 portfolio by clicking the “Rename” button.

Note: By renaming, it will not affect the name of your TradingSolutions work directory.

 

In addition, you can adjust your Size Type and Size Amount directly on this panel for the selected model/system. When you are finished, press the Next button to proceed.

On this panel, you can choose whether you want Trader68 to automatically generate Stop Loss and/or Profit Taking orders. By default, they are disabled and accepting only orders from your signal generator. To enable, simply check the box next to the associated field and enter the value for the Stop Loss and/or Profit Taking. When finished, press the Next button to proceed.

Congratulations! You have setup your initial TradingSolutions model/system to begin autotrading in Trader68. Press the Finish button to proceed on to the Trader68 interface and start enjoying the luxury of hands-off trading!

To add another system through the wizard, simply click on the Manage menu and select Setup New System. You can also add a model/system directly on the Asset Grid by typing in the symbol name (see Adding Assets through the Asset Grid).
